There ya go Sean. Hitch a ride down with Bob…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Hmmmmm

Wel, whaddya know. I should be back in MD that weekend. Plan to drive a car home from FL by the 28th, and we leave for the UK on the 2nd. Having done Kimberton (NG Modular Get-together) I know it is do-able for a day trip. Yep, Google says about 95 miles.

Cool, Pete. If you do plan to make it, bring one or two of those Live Steamers with ya. (As if I have to ask…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif))

Well Ken since I am down in Cecil County MD (Elkton) home of the ELKTON BALTIMORE FREDERICK AND WESTERN (be quiet Rooster) I am planning a day trip to come up and see your RR and some of the folks. Looking forward to April today since the Angles are having a feather pillow fight today.

Noel

Same here, Noel, I just came in from the shed making sure the snowblower was ready, just in case. Elkton’s just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Gee, the neighbors look at me funny when I hop, skip and jump around the yard. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

What am I saying? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)The neighbors look at me funny no matter what I am doing. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)

I guess they just don’t appreciate my talents. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-yell.gif)

Well, actually, the live steamers get used and the RYM battery/r-c Mikado never turns a wheel these days, as Mike Moore and the Aikenback Live Steamers frown on non-steam-power. So I guess I can bring both EBT Mikes, as both have r/c. What’s your minimum radius ?

Damn if I know. Tightest spot was leaving Mancos and crossing the bridge to Hesperus, but I’m widening that spot now. It’s all aluminum flex track, but the curves cover a 12-14’ span from one module to the next.

Here’s the Wye:

And the other end I’m working on:

Like I said, the K-27 handles the curves just fine.

Looks like the minimum radius is wide enough for Amtrak equipment so that should be sufficent?

Bump

Ken

I just got a new to me AML live steam 0-6-0 with RC, so why not make my first op session live steam instead of battery? What could possibly go wrong?

Hey Pete T, see you there!

Jerry

Works fer me…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Great question! “What could go wrong?” Ahhhhh!

Why not send it out in a message to those who are coming? I’m not sure I’m comfortable with posting an address here…although I guess you can find anything using the Internet…
