0-80 hardware on the front with #2 screws in the rear . The frame is 3/32 x 1/4 rectangular brass

Looks like you got the linkage worked out. Not surprised that it gave you a bit of trouble. Looks simple, but complicated in actual operation. Gotta get those rods exactly the right length!

Nice build so far. Very creative use of HO wheels too!

So when did they start putting side rods and bellcranks on powered boxcars ?

I’m really enjoying the use of unconventional materials and parte to complete this. The HO wheels for cylinder heads is great. Those side rods look sharp, and give the spindly appearance of the prototype.I keep seeing box style steam chest on the cylinders , not the round style you seem to be using.But, all in all you seem to have captured the flavor of the prototype on this build.
