Yea, Beauty and the Beast What engine is that, that motor block comes from? It looks to me like the rear axle on it is the powered one. I’m going to be very interested is seeing how you get this thing from a very short wheel base to the long wheel base on the original. But with your mechanical ability, I guess you have that all figured out already.

I didn’t build Percy…However Percy was called into the CVRR shops to discuss a suspicious rumor that he and Utility’s girlfriend Chloe were having an affair. When he was questioned by the supervisor he openly admitted the rumor was true! Percy stated " She showed me her firebox and ashpan then one thing lead to another " ? The supervisor replied " What did you just Shay son " ??? Well the rest of the details are way to graphic to describe and somehow Forney #69 the Kay Shin was involved. Anyway Utility caught wind of all this and had a hit put out on both of them! WARNING THESE PICTURES ARE GRAPHIC!

Shawn’s comment reminds me of way back when I worked on the Dry Gulch RR at Hershey Park during my summers between college years. Our locomotive was a Crown Metal Products 4-4-0. She only weighed 4.5 tons in working order and ran on two foot gauge track. Anyway, one of the kiddie ride operators would visit us on his breaks and always ask, “How do they get these little locomotives?” Luckily I had one of the George Abdill books which showed a photo of a wreck where one 4-4-0 had slammed into the rear of another 4-4-0 and ended up with the rear locomotive perched on the tender of the forward locomotive. We showed the photo to the kiddie ride operator and said, “Here’s how we get these little locomotives. This is a photo of a breeding pair!” :lol:
