Have you looked in one of your shoe boxes…LOL

found it, when i cleaned out the car.

here my boxing system:

One time when the IG was coming, we labelled a 4 drawer cabinet:

Junk

Stuff

Miscellaneous

Other

They were not amused.

In my Jeep, when I used it for work, I had a parts drawer labeled large parts, and the one under it labeled large parts the squeal. The cable repairman saw that and thought it was so funny. One of the other techs where I worked saw it, and I had to try and explain it to him. If you have to explain a joke, its no longer funny.

I’m a little concerned that about half of your boxes are pink… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Greg

thanks for the laugh!

we got a general store and most of our customers take their shoes without boxes. and for free, pink is good enough.

Absolutely! I use banker’s boxes with numbers, too big for detail parts but good for boxes of stuff:

Darn. I have stuff in boxes, but not that many boxes. And on the end of the box is written what is in the box. Now, ifonly I could find the box I am looking for…

Gregh, that sounds very professional. i’m just a messie. if i had more room for tables, i would never use boxes.

David, if you can’t find the boxes, change to bigger boxes.

Korm, no. The boxes are all the same size, and they stack real nice. One has 2 LGB Porters in it, so they are already a decent size. The issue is, I cant stack them all in the same place, so I have some in my workroom, in 2 different piles, and some in the garage, in 2 different piles, and it took me way too long last night to find the RJ25 cable and plugs I needed for my HO module.

Why do you have a 100’ fish tape in box 57?

I noticed box 69 is missing so that throws up a red flag right there!

I hesitated a moment since I did not read through the whole thing, but I figured you guys would find some fun stuff.

The “fish tape” is the long flat steel “tape” for “fishing” wires through walls or in my case conduit:

Rooster, box 69 has censored contents…

I know what fish tape is, but a video of Penny? Penny who? And 2 smoke alarms. You know smoke alarms should be taken out of the box so they can do their job.

you’ll never be a real hoarder!

Penny is wife, used to be the weather girl in Flagstaff, AZ.

Smoke alarms are spares, although they do go bad after 10 years or so.

I’m surprised Rooster did not comment on item #3 in box 45…

Ha, he who laughs last, had it explained to him.

The Priority “Shoe box” at the post office is ideal for storing rolling stock. The box is a bit short for longer stock but you can tape two boxes end to end to make a box fit the piece you want housed inside.

Korm, you haven’t seen my stashes.

Oh guys, that list is just the garage, it’s not my office in the house, many more goodies, but mostly microprocessor based.

Greg

I still want to know what’s in “Box 69”. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
