      Spring Photo Thread 2021

      Few spring shots so far this year.

      My new Scratch built Class A using Bachmann Climax parts. Battery powered.  I did not build this.  I  bought it off a friend who scratch built it.  Yes Rooster I have a friend.

      Hmmmmm... I can sympathize!  Anyway, here's Diesel Dan pulling a short local past a farmstead and a fallen windmill...

      ...our COVID puppy Mrs. Opal won't tolerate that windmill in the vertical position for some reason!

      Shawn;

      Loved the General photo.  Now you will have to make a figure that looks like a young Buster Keaton (in the silent film version of the Great Locomotive Chase).

      Best Wishes, David Meashey

      I have been working on the mountain extension for about a year now...i think it is pretty good now, two large trestles, some culverts a pair of future covered bridges, room for a future staging yard.  It is a pretty constant grade at between 1 and 2%  very managable with RC steam but also doable with manual control.

      This video shows the entire track end to end.  Film of the complete reverse loops didnt make the final cut, sorry bout that.

      Very scenic Eric, I opened it up to watch full screen, and it felt like I was on that flat car enjoying the ride.

      If I may make a suggestion though, when the viewer watches the video, it's as if we are there, onboard. When you pull back to take the distance shots, for the run by's, like over the trestles, there should be a worker, or hobo, sitting on a crate, facing the direction of the shot, because we, the viewers are on that train. Just my 2 cents.
