Good to see this rebuilt. 
There is no amount of punishment available to make these little a$$holes pay back for the damages they did. Huge props to Sir Rod Stewart for donating a chunk of $$ to help them rebuild
The 16-year-olds were put on referral orders, which as I understand it is some kind of supervised community service, and their folks had to pay, get this, 500 pounds, which I think is probably around 600 or 700 bucks.
People (kids) who have never labored to create something, have no idea about the effort, dedication and emotional attachment, one has when one spends the kind of time to create something as intense as a model railroad. So they have no respect for the creation nor the creator(s) of such things. I m not sure that any punishment could instill respect into those brats.
Kudos to all who donated to restore that model railroad.
