Large Scale Central

Decaling on the 1:1 scale. Amtrak 606 gets wrapped.

Decaling on the 1:1 scale.

"For the holiday season, Amtrak 606 received a Coca-Cola wrap featuring their iconic polar bear and "Share the Magic on Amtrak," marking the relaunch of Coke products aboard all Amtrak trains. It's amazing to watch the process unfold as once the sheets of wrap are pressed on, there's little hope of getting them off without messing them up. Once the sheets are fitted and "roughed in," they're smoothed to get out any air bubbles. If you look closely you can see some outlines of the existing livery beneath."

have to wonder how much Coke paid to do this, I would like to see the whole thing after its donce

I have used that stuff to “repaint” a few diecast cars. Been meaning to try a boxcar as a POC.

Railroads in Switzerland, in particular the RhB, have been doing that for years. I was wondering when Amtrak would start doing it for a little extra advertising income.
