Has anyone taken apart a USA mighty moe switcher?

What does it look like under the hood?

How easy is it to take off the hood?

I have not, but normal method is screws in and around the motor block from the underside.

I would guess the hood is connected to the cab, but look underneath for smaller screws nearer the edge of the frame for the cab

I never had mine apart and have since sold it. As Greg suggests, hood and cab probably screwed on from beneath. I would turn the trucks and look for screws hidden by them. Screws will probably be in recessed posts.
