LSC places cookies on your browser or device to help make your experience with the website better.

You can use your browser’s cookie tools change your cookie settings to remove these cookies after each session on LSC.

Otherwise, we’ll assume you’re OK with this.

Does this mean we have come to the “Dark Side”?

I was really hoping for a choice of flavors, but…cookies are cookies…aren’t they???

I just hope there be some nice cold milk to go with them thar cookies… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Since the new GDPR laws came into operation in Europe some non EU web sites, apparently, particularly news ones, have not been available for those in the EU.

Having many friends in southern Wisconsin I usually look at Fox6 Milwaukee to see what is going on there. Yesterday it said it was not available in my region. I was puzzled initially then realized what was happening. A quick switch to VPN (Opera browser has a built in option for VPN) soon sorted that out. Another Milwaukee news place had no issues, maybe they have not acted - assuming they need to - to the EU directive yet.

Actually not everyone is up to speed yet here, mainly small businesses and there have been some curious interpretations such as the Church of England saying you cannot pray aloud for people anymore without their permission. Nonsense of course.

I’m pretty sure I don’t understand any of it…but I have a good excuse?

Me likes cookies.

i have a little tool named ghostery incorporated or glued to my firefox.

that shows me, that LSC sends out up to seven trackers (cuantity varies, depending which page i am on )

i’m no computer wizzard, but i get more and more the impression, that either all these modern gizmos slow down many websites more and more,

or i am getting faster at surfing. (the second option being veeery improbable)

As long as you give us cookies ( chocolate chunk preferred or chocolate oatmeal drop cookies) I guess we will behave better! We promise, well most of do, I know Rooster will opt out after a while, but most of us will behave, except that Ken Brunt Guy, he is always flipping off cameramen! Oh and Boomer too, he colors outside the lines , but some of us will behave. Well there is also… oh hell give me cookies and I will try to be mostly good, semi well behaved, kinda nice at times. I give up, no cookies for me either.

The cookie monster is dead man, he missed the episode about looking both ways before crossing the street

I have no idea what all y’all are talking about.

What?!? You never had a cookie in the Navy???(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

It’s not that difficult to understand…

SUPERAntiSpyware deleted 1,008 tracking cookies from my computer this afternoon. I would guess some of them were LSC cookies.

I’m guessing probably not Mr. Zullo

Getting back to the subject at hand…

In order to continue to serve our EU members, I am going to need to be a bit more in-your-face about cookies and privacy, etc. I will be implementing changes similar to what every other site Ive run across has. Stay tuned.
