Spring photo thread

Even though it hasn’t felt like Spring for those of us in the North I guess its time to start the spring photo thread.

Scratch built Class A on the first day of spring.

That’s a great looking railroad you have Shawn.

Shane

Shawn only runs outdoors in blizzard conditions…

April 6th we had more snow

Beautiful Shawn, makes me feel like I’m right there

I think spring finally arrived in these parts so, new to the RR, RGS #41 makes it’s debut on the railroad.

And since nothing has run on the layout since last fall, I needed to check out the track work for any problems. Needless to say there weren’t any.

Great pictures, Ken!

The layout looks ready for this weekend’s operations.

We shall see, Bruce. If there’s a glitch somewhere I’m sure someone will find it next week…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Well amen to that. One can have a railroad that runs flawlessly…but as soon as a visitor shows up, trains start derailing like crazy!

Hmmm

Great photos guys.

Seeing the nice and clean scenes reminds me that my RR is a disaster!

Todd, so is mine. Its actually a bit depressing how much the deer have ruined.

I think spring is finally here. Got our last snow on April 30th.

Great pictures Shawn. Nothing ran here today as I was busy cleaning up and mulching gardens in other parts of the yard. Then I had to burn all the tree debris from the two big wind storms in the fire pit. Of course, that required drinking some beer. I have run an inspection train over the entire mainline and it seems to be OK. I cleaned out all the switches one evening last week so the mainline is ready to run. If the weather holds for Sunday I might get a few pics before I start ripping stuff up for some scenic work I have planned.

Shawn …I’m “Still” mystified as to how you hide the “Pull String”
