I think it’s very fitting! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

If mine were to reflect my life, the coal car would need to be in a train wreck scene

just an H0 car full of ash?

i would have thought, a person would fill at least an O-scale car.

A few years ago I read a post from someone who said they had taken a G scale tank car, had it custom painted with their name and mounted permanently to a section of track with a wood base. He instructed the family when the time came to have his ashes interned in the tank car and to have the date of death added. He already had a place to display it on a mantle already reserved. He was still pretty spritely by all accounts at the time. Don’t know whatever happened with that.

You hear about some folk involved with the steam loco’ preservation movement here in the UK having their ashes spread in the firebox to end up, hopefully, going though the chimney but this is a new one to me. Might try it myself, when the day inevitably comes. Imagine the surprise when somebody gets one of my AMS Fn3 D&RGW gon’s with a “real” ash load included. Might create a bit of a stir on Ebay.
