      Scale Model Plans

I was messing around looking at sawmills for the indoor. I want to build just a small steam powered circular saw mill that basically just brings logs up from the mill pond into a head rig with a cariage and a saw and then an out feed table. Maybe a resaw for cutting slabs into dimensional widths and a single planner for taking them down to thinkness. Now I don't have a lot of room so this maybe scaled down to just the head rig.

Anyway I came across a set of plans from Scale Model Plans. For $10 bucks I thought what the heck. I downloaded the 1:48 O scale plans since I am building 1:24 it will make it easy by doubling everything. Well after just a brief look this is a great set of plans. It comes with assembly directions templates cad drawings and card stock instructions and color templates for printing the card stock. It even comes with equipment plans.

I will likely build the card stock version just for giggles and to see how it will fit on the layout ( or in the space I have for it anyway) and how I might want to tweek it.

Has anyone else dealt with these plans?

      Unless they're drawn on a na'kin.

Steve, that's a different modeler on here. I know, its hard to tell one from the other without a program.
