      USA Hudson
Charles Ro and co. has outdone them selves with the Hudson. All metal with sound and smoke. My stock engine came with Phoenix sound and a TSA smoke generator. She is a great runner!!!
The engine likes big curves, will tolerate 8' but likes 10'or more!

On one of my loops I have 20'ers take a look:  https://youtu.be/N8QH2qTeKBM

However.... The smoke unit (TSA o scale unit ) was a dissapointment.
      Along comes Dan Pierce.
We removed the Pheonox sound unit, TSA smoke generator.
We installed a :  Zimo MX695KS decoder with pro smoke and visiton frs7s speaker.
      What a differance!!!!!!!
Now when you have the engine on the track ( using TE ,track power, anolog ) and you add power to where the lights and sound just come one... you get a series of sounds, realy nice. Now we bump up the power and we hear a whistle and the unit starts to move. right a way you hear the CHUFF of the engine (no smoke yet in anolog) as you pick up speed ,and heat for the smoke unit , you get the CHUFF and SMOKE @ the same time!
Here is a short clip showing the CHUFF and SMOKE in action !!

      https://youtu.be/a9-EnFFbVZM

I am very pleased with the outcome...
PS. I will have to play with this unit @ Dans to enjoy the full DCC effect!
PSS. I found that "JT's Mega-Steam " smoke fluid works the best for me.

What happened to your old TSA unit? I'd take it off your hands for a few bucks, just mainly for spares for my other 2 TSA's.

(yes there's no comparison in smoke output)

      Regards, Greg
