I think long time ago, not sure of the date they were on here about 2006 or so. Not able to find them now.

Wish we had a way to get them in Articles here again.

Links not working Noel. Get nothing.

If you have a PDF program in your computer, it should open it.

That didn’t work on mine? Richard B. I put up a new link and my other computer will open up a PDF file ok.

This maybe something that Bob Mc. knows how to do and get it in my frt. shed here. Then can get them in the Ariticles folder. Just not sure how to copy it. Right now FTP program can’t get them yet due to they are re-doing there site. So probably going to loose them in the shuffle.

Noel

on mylargescale your first link worked the others did not, i got them by doing a search for last part of your address exp. Noels%20Files/NoelW_Animation-1.pdf but i can’t copy the address

Richard

Noel

the ones on mylargescale if i highlight and rt. click then go to it works.

Richard

Good… I’m trying to get copys sent to my hard dr with PDF program now.

Noel

When I clicked on your first link, it opened a new window, but the address bar stopped after Noels.

I typed the rest of the address in and it opened the pdf. After that I just changed the -1 to -2 and so on. I opened them all. I am going to copy the address of one I opened and paste it here and see if it works.

Doesn’t work. Stops after Noels.

It doesn’t like the space (%20).

If you are not a MLS First Class member then you cannot access anything in the 1stClass forum.

I don’t know which browser you are using, but I am using Firefox 27.0.1 and all Noel’s links worked for me. I downloaded all Noel’s articles on animation and forwarded them to him.

Hi Dennis C. Yes for now we are a First class member but VP is not responding for our renewal that is coming up. So trying to save all we can.

Joel Z. Tk’s got it.

I am not a first class member and I downloaded all the files.

Spaces in file names are a no-no. I worked around it as described in my previous message.

I tried IE11 and Firefox. Both worked the same way.

Noel,

Once the computer opens the PDF, you can “save a copy” of it in a folder on your computer, then upload it to the LSC Freight Shed - or email it to Bob for inclusion in the Articles. You don’t need FTP.

Yep, or create a folder (see menu bar) and drop them in there.

Tks, Bob Mc.C. I got 5 of them in my frt. shed now… Not sure how I can get them to show on here later on yet.
I know there a few yr’s. old, but is good stuff on how to articles to show if some one want to see something difference in building projects.
Tk’s again for the help… Noel & Jane

Noel, I just downloaded and read the first of these articles of yours.
I read it carefully all the way through, and I understand your method perfectly.
It’s very clever how you animated those doors to open and close one after the other. It’s just as if there were some little guy in there opening them, first the one and then the other.
And best of all your idea is actually so simple to do!
Thank you for showing us how you did it. Oh, and your railroad looks really great in those photos. I like the turntable down there on the ground at your feet too…
I have always liked the idea of animations, and once upon a time I did several on a display layout in Sn3 and Sn2. But that was a long time ago!
Now I’m going to try and get those other articles of yours downloaded.
Cheers, and thanks once again - you’re a clever guy!

OK, I got article number two now. The cowboy and the bears had me laughing out loud. Thanks again, Noel!

Well, I’ve been reading them all. I liked all of them. I’m now reading the last one about the grist mill. It’s been a great morning!

Thanks John. I was lucky to save some of them off the other site with Bob McC. and a few others help here.
I had lots more over the last 14 yrs, but that 5 was all that was saved.

I going to have a few more coming up in Garden R.R. Maz. later on we hope.
