That said, I prefer an apple pie made with Granny Smith apples! Pure nirvana!

Granny Smith apples. That’s what Helen uses for her apple pies too. Nirvana indeed! Her specialty. Don’t let Rooster know or he’ll be crowing around here trying to purloin a piece. :wink:

Of course a marionberry cobbler is nothing to turn your nose up at either.

Huckleberries! Pie, jam and jelly.

Blackberries! Jam, Jelly, and Liquor (sp).

Also SWMBO made Crab apple jelly today as well. mmmm. Think we might be stocked up on toast toppings for a year or two.
