I’m a bit late posting this since I built this locomotive a month ago but I wanted to share it with y’all. :slight_smile: I know there’s a few people out there who don’t feel LEGO trains count as model railroading (the official sets are very non-realisitic) But there’s a lot of creations out there of some REALLY nicely modeled LEGO trains.

This one I built is a Swedish B class ten-wheeler which is perhaps my favorite class of locomotive. They’re so lovely looking! There’s one that operated here in Maine for a while but not anymore. I also added a maylocosound card into the tender for kicks.

Very nice. I’m a huge Leggo fan. When my son was younger my layout was populated with several Leggo industraial creations of his.

Thanks guys! Ralph, yeah they’ve made quite a lot of new pieces just in the last 2 years alone! I like taking parts which seem to have one use for detail parts such as the buffers which are just Minifig goblets.

The GTE shows here around St Louis for the past few years has had a lego railroad display… seems to be a different theme each show, very creative…

Me to Rooster. LEGOS have come a long way. I guy close by sold his entire LGB train collection and outdoor RR because he got into LEGO trains. My little guy is still a tad young for them but I cant wait till he gets into them.
