This looks like you could feed it galvanized sheet and get all the roofing, siding, metal for a lifetime.

I’ve written to get the “folds per inch” ,but based on the video, they look pretty good for large scale use.

Anyone with experience, here?

That looks pretty neat. I’ve toyed with the idea of making one out of pinion gear stock, but my machinery skills are non-existant.

Interesting stuff. Mixed reviews and not all that cheap. I think I would be more inclined to let somebody else do the work: http://gscalecorrugatedmetal.com/ You could get quite a bit just for the price of the tool. There’s probably others out there as well, but that turned up on a quick search.

I have a Fiskar crimper that I use, but I would like to modify it to use steel pillow blocks instead of the plastic thing it sits in, but if I’m going to do that, then Ill replace the aluminum ‘gears’ with steel as well, and then its a bigger project than I want. :slight_smile:

I bought this press off a gentleman on E-Bay. It does a pretty good job but does require some force to make it work. Makes up to a 4x7 piece.

hmmm? what is a piece of scale corrugated , say 7" tall by X length?

Maybe I could justify the price by becoming a supplier of cheap corrugated.

I did like Bob posted I purchaced one 12" long pinion cut in half machined shafts in the end, used umhw plastic for bearings, made the top roller adjustable to make deep or shallow ribs

personally I like the deeper ribs.

I can make 6" wide by any width. I use steel shim stock so I get real rust. For the price I recommend the top post,

Nice set up, Dennis. I went through a lot of the same thoughts and engineering on paper and concluded the RioGrande mill would actually be less expensive to purchase that a DIY to build.

What are you using for shingles, BTW?
