Large Scale Central

Wanted: A Reputable Company

Wanted:

A reputable company preferably on East coast to do DCC and Sound installs on analog engines that I buy.

If you are a hobby shop that do installs on G scale, please respond.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve

A better way of asking would be …

Do you guys have a installer/shop that you would recommend for the above work …

I have one recommendation : http://www.rcsofne.com

Some other member near you might respond…

Good luck

Sean

Steve, if you are expecting to buy several engines, it might be worth your while to learn how to do them yourself.

Just suggesting.

Contact Dan Pierce, he is on this forum and has years of successful installs.

Greg

X 2 for RCS of New England, Don is great to work with.

Do you know if they just do battery installs? I don’t do r/c battery.

Thanks

Pardon the ignorant know nothing busy body, but how to you plan to control your battery powered locomotives if not some form of radio control?

He does not do r/c like he does not run battery, that’s why he asked for dcc installs. That’s how I read it.

Dan is pretty much the east coast expert on DCC installs.

Why don’t you shoot him an e-mail …with that question…

Steve, I do the DCC installs for Trainli.com my club members and myself…

I specialize in Zimo (zimo.at) decoders which exceed all the G scale voltage requirements (all current Zimo decoders have a minimum 30 volt rating.)

I will send you a private message with my phone number, I live in South Eastern Massachusetts, only 20 minutes from where the Patriots play.

Note: I have MTS I and II parallel and Zimo DCC systems and I do run my digital engines on DC and DCC tracks.

I have a loco that Dan DCC’d, a Hudson, and can vouch for his work, and moreover his experience with DCC, which is more than just hooking up wires.

Greg

Oh Ya Dan lives just down the road , He installed a Zimo decoder in my Hudson as well … (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

I guess I forgot to mention him …but Greg remembered …

I’d like to put my recommendation for Dan in as well, he’s helped me several times.

I thank all of you for your kind words and input.
