I have an idea for you ( I hope we are at a place where I can poke fun at you and your condition ) you need to get into compressed air locomotives. Then you can make walk beside locos that run off your new O2 bottle appendages.

Walk? Dang I shoulda built a ride behind elevated pike!

What a week! Ive been under siege!

20 year old carpet has been condemned ...

The 68 year old body has been declared worthy of further treatments!

I've been stirring up dust, packing away my treasures! My shaved cat and I have been ordered to move to under sister's thumb... for the duration of treatments, oh my. My home will be sanitized for my recovery.

Same guest house I used last time. Minutes from the hospital, not the hour from my home.

The Cure-all operation was cancelled on the 9th, removing viable lung is not an option and the cancer is located near the airways. Sewing radiation burned flesh is not possible and I've got too much already...

I knew my options were being presented, but it's been a long wait for the wheels of administration to turn..

Today I got the call; I get chemo and Imuno-therapy!

Feb 14 and Chemo begins; 3 days a week for 3 weeks...

Stay tuned for more exciting details!

Sorry about the Contest, Mik knew too well about life getting in the way.

      I'll be back.

When you return we would like pics of the shaved cat or maybe not.

I mohawked my sisters cat when I was a kid (mom and sis cried) dad tried not to laugh and told me I was grounded. Think my brother has the polaroid somewhere.

      Good luck and take care!

Here's to success for you and the shaved cat. Haven't yet decided what exactly to pray for for your sister, mercy, compassion, strength, tolerance, understanding, compassion, endurance, everything?

And may you get through this event as smoothly as the train slipped by junior here; it even rolled right over his leash like it wasn't there!

      Meet Rocky the long hair gone short;

      That brings to mind,

Cat Affection Move: the Paw of Compassion

When we have a good cat relationship, our cats will extend the Paw of Compassion.

Sometimes this is literal, as when they lay their paw on our arm or leg. Sometimes it’s a head rubbed across our cheek or forehead, sometimes it’s curling up near us. But our cats do seem moved to comfort us when they know we are down.

      How do they know?

      ...

Anyone with a close cat relationship has a story about how their cats gather around when they are sick or sad. Under such circumstances, it’s undeniable that our cats are concerned. We can argue if this is because they are worried about us, or worried about how this might impact tonight’s dinner time.

We can, after all, be cynical and ask the same thing of our human companions.

John, for your recovery period, maybe get yourself a laptop layout...

More seriously though, thanks for posting the next op date, and I'll be praying for you.

The waiting has gotta be tough...
