Winter Layout Photos

Merry Christmas??? 23 degrees this morning with 6" of snow on the ground.

While it is not unusual for me to get snow this early it is unusual for it to be this heavy and to stick. Here is the layout after last nights storm.

It is wet, heavy and was preceded by freezing rain so no I am not going to try and plow it. Plus Bruce refuses to send me his snow wedge.

I am however a little motivated to work on my rotary model.

No BBQ in that forecast.

oh yuck! I really can wait for that stuff. Maybe it can hold off for a few more months? (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I was out Friday morning salting, we only got an inch, and most of that was on the grass.

Why were you salting the grass ?

Maybe its a vegan thing.

Guess I should have clarified, although the snow accumulated on the grass, the roads were slick and slushy, and required a salt application.

Sorry Dave, even though I grow my own vegetables, and insist on a salad with dinner every evening, I’m not a vegan. I love meat. Pork, beef, chicken, in that order.

Boomer, I apologize for derailing your thread.

Sorry? Why? I like eating tasty animals too.
