Mini OPS, 25 June
Had a fella stop by yesterday and we ran a couple trains.
This is a landmark event in the history of the new Shasta Pacific/South Fork Timber Co. railroad as the first operations session.
Granted there were only two of us and one controller but we managed to have a good time.
And yes Ken I got that dam switch regauged
Here Ken Brunt is working the loads at Camp Six getting ready to take them down the hill.
Working the cars at Camp Six
I should have taken more pictures but we were having too much fun running trains and ribbing each other about our mistakes.
Ken and I are traveling over to the coast on Thursday to spend the day with Dick and Helen Smith and practice our mistake making on the Port Orford Coast Railroad.
Thanks for a great time yesterday Ken, it was a pleasure to finally meet you in person.
