Anyone ever see one of these?
I have to admit I have started picking up Buddy L and T-reproductions (mostly the later). I will tell you these are BIG BIG Heavy jobs. Supposedly roughly 5/8" scale.
Anyway, I was perusing for 3.25" gauge and stumbled on that MTH made a copy of a one off Lionel 318SS (presumably SS stood for super size). The model is gigantic, over 30" all steel with a weight of more than 50lbs.
Turns out that MTH made the model to run on both Lionel Standard Scale track but also a couple of versions to run on the old Buddy L track as the size of the model was closer to the Buddy L stuff I guess.
Would love to have one but they have been out of production for some time.
