Alscad Design Push-cart Kit - Vendor Contact

I’m interested in the Alscad Design push-cart kit reviewed in the current April issue of Garden Railways. However all that is listed in the article is a physical address for contact. A bit of web searching failed has failed me much to my chagrin.

Does anyone have an email or web site address for ordering? If not I will be forced to use traditional domestic mail to order one of these.

Thanks in advance.

Mark,

I have sent you a PM. I would appreciate all other interest in the same manner for now. very small manufacture just cutting his teeth at this time.

Received pm and ordered one kit. I’ll report back when received and then when assembled. Not looking forward to drilling the 50 holes! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Thanks to all.

Mark,

I suppose I should move finishing the cart to the top of my list. Everything is done except putting the wheels on. I was stalling because my track is used as a power buss for lighting, so I was searching for a simple solution for the cart’s shorting axles.

Al - Please fix your link to https:// - When I click on it I’m not logged in at that “site”. While you are at it you should fix your bookmark to be https://.

Received the kit and all looks well.  Given my current schedule I don't think that I can start assembly until some time in July.

I'm still not looking forward to those bolts but I can see how much it will add to the look of the cart.  Hey, maybe it won't be that bad.

I have completed the push-cart and am quite satisfied with the results. The placing of the bolt detail was really not that difficult and I only launched one into the great unknown.

I did a mild weathering on it using chalks and it looks pretty good to me. But as the Kinks said in Well Respected Man “and his own sweat smells the best”!

Hope the pictures attached correctly as this is my first attempt. Well they’re attached, but upside down. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Mark,

looks good, take a minute and spin those pictures 180 thou. I do not remember did you get one of the originals with metal wheels of the newer version with the black plastic ones? with the newer one the bolt detail would have been on a black plastic sprue as well.

for anyone else interested I do have the bits to make up a few more kits on hand.

Al:

Hmm, “take a minute”, ha! It already took about 30 of them to attach those using one of the methods that I located on the forum. Maybe I’ll take another shot in the next couple of days.

I have the metal wheels and the bolts are on a brown sprue. I liked that since they sort of look kinda rusted.

By the way, nice kit, thanks.
