Snow in New England ... again....

Nice snow we got!

The first layer was Too sticky… Maybe next time!

Sean give Charlie Brown and the gang the rest of the day off. They at least made an attempt.

I just came in from shoveling a bit and had high hopes for plowing the RR but then I found the first layer on the track was ice.

Double UGGG

Yup

I bet the trucks are a block of ice after running in that slop !

Sean, I hate to tell you this, but here at one-mile high in altitude at the base of the Rocky Mountains, on February 10th, against all sense, it was 77 degrees today. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

Not meaning this as an insult, but I hate you guys, LOL. I and my salting crew are in a snow drought here in Chicagoland. Last measurable snow we got was the first week in January. We had a couple salting operations with freezing rain and black ice, but no snow. Been praying for frozen precipitation for a month now, and all it keeps doing is going around to the north, or south of our location, and slamming into the east coast.

I’ve run the salt and snow crews for 15 of my 25 yrs here in Streamwood, IL, easy overtime for the guys that want to be on it.
