most auto parts stores will have 1/2 amp glass fuses

This shouldn’t be so hard … My local AutoZone’s smallest was 1amp…

This JEF 0.5a fuse is it for 32,. 125V,or 240V not much to go on.

When replacing fuses you need to remember there are many different types for the same current.

Slow blow, Fast blow (usually have a spring tensioner inside) for 2 examples.

In Massachusetts You Do It Electronics in Needham would have the smaller fuses in stock. This electronic store makes Radio Shack look like an outhouse.

Try online…Allied Electronics, Mouser, and Digi-Key. All three are good places to deal with. My preference is Mouser.
