Anyone using these for turnout control?

Hmm,I guess that would be a no. They don’t seem particularly complicated so I’m thinking of trying to build one. The commercial ones I’m finding are somewhat bulky and not particularly cheap. I was planning on using servos for this but they seem to be way over-kill and require a servo driver of some sort. A short pulse of 6-12v would be preferable.

Martin, Dave Bodner uses small servos as switch machines. I like the realistic effect of them The switch doesn’t snap over, but the points move slow and gentle.
