One extra momentary switch for LGB # 52750

Setting up the Christmas display layout and this year I added a LGB remote uncoupler, Question. I have one LGB 52750 momentary switch control box that now controls 4 remote switches instead of buying another box can I just run 2 wires from the connectors on the end of the LGB 52750 to a seperate momentary on switch then on to the uncoupler? If so what type of switch would I need to get? I would think that a rated rocker switch would work what do the experts say?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Tom,
Any momentary (spring back to center off) on-off-on switch will work.
Back in my trackpower days, I controlled the LGB switches with a
bank of toggle switches in a homemade control box.
Toggles were cheaper than rockers.

Oh, and yes you can power it from the LGB box, if you can find
something to plug into the end of it.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts John now I’m off to radio shack.

OK now that I have a toggle switch how do I wire it up? I thought I had a handle on this but now when I went to put it together I’m confused. I tried looking online but not much came up for how to wire a LGB remote uncoupler. I don’t want to do it wrong and fry the thing so any guidance would be great.

Todd,
Remember the LGB switch motors are AC.

Here’s a wiring diagram. Scroll down.
