  TrainOps is a computer program designed by large scale railroaders to allow you to run your trains realistically. It is based upon the concept of trains operating to pick up and deliver your rolling stock to your industries. It was specifically designed to handle the unique problems of running trains outside, but can also be easily used for smaller scale layouts. It is an easy program to learn and use with an intuitive interface and all the information you need readily available.

  With TrainOps you can:

• Manage your car types and all of your rolling stock
• Manage the traffic to and from your industries
• Create different routes for various trains
• Create trains, assign routes, and control what industries a train switches
• Assign specific locomotives and cabooses to each train
• Determine how many trains are going to be run for each "day"
• Print switch lists for each train to provide detailed instructions of which cars to pick up and deliver
• Print a setup report that details where to put each piece of rolling stock at the start of an operating session
• Route cars to off-layout locations to simulate a larger railroad than what you have modeled and increase operating interest and traffic
