Im trying to find a water pump for my MOW project but cant find anything. I got the water steam transfer pump from ozark but it seems way to small. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a water pump. I could not find anything bigger from Ozarks.

Geoff that one is a little too fancy for what I need. This is the one I got from ozark.

This will work but it seems too small. Its 1:20 scale. If I could find something twice that size.

Shawn,
Using Bruce's theory of expansion, couldn't you take a Bachmann steam generator, cut and add to it and creat something that looke like that?

Thats a possibilty. Where can I get a bachmann gen. I tried their parts list and could not find any. I used my only one on the dunkirk.

Besides ozark is there any other dealers that makes detaiiled parts?

Was thinking the same thing and actually you can. All you need is an impeller on a motor(think fish aquariums)

Shawn, how about getting the smallest aquarium pump you can find, power it from a DC/AC inverter, all hidden somewhere inside the car you are building...run a small tube to the 'pump'. Just a thought, can get pretty small inverters now (cigarette lighter plug-in style) might have to stripit down a little.
Never seen something like that on these forums!!!......YET!!!!!!.......LOL.

Actually a Bman airpump might be closer to being a water pump......steam powered piston pump that is........but a pump doesn't have to be big to be effective.....
